of South India. It highlights the customs, crafts and folk
arts of the region. Some of the regular festivals celebrated
are Ugadi (Andhra), Pongal (Tamilnadu), Onam (Kerala), Dusshera
(Karnataka) etc.,
Our festivals highlight many
of the lesser known Folk Performing Art groups from villages
throughout South India. Many Folk Performing Art troups
from other regions of India perform at special festivals,
like our Rajanstan, Bengali or Puppetry festivals.
