Heritage Houses collection
Towards completion of the
heritage house collection at DakshinaChitra.
The Tamilnadu section is
complete, however we need to add the following houses
in the respective sections.
In the Kerala Section
A Muslim house from the Telicherry
area of Kerala (not – identified)
In the Karnataka Section
A stone village house from Gulbarga
District
An agricultural house from the Udipi
Area
A Coorg house
An urban bungalow of mixed Indian
and British inspiration
In the Andhra Section
A craftsmans family house from Ettikopaka
A stone house from Rayalseena
An agricultural house from Nellore
district
What can you do ?
You could give us information
about the above mentioned houses if they are available
for relocation to DakshinaChitra.
In cases where we have already identified the house you
could help in donating towards the relocation/ building
of the house at DakshinaChitra.
