Air Mauritius Children’s Quiz, November 14, 2004
As part of their continuing endeavor to sensitise children
to their culture and heritage, this year, DakshinaChitra
is conducting a quiz for children of standard 6th, 7th and
8th, with prizes being sponsored by Air Mauritius, Sterling
Resorts and Landmark.
The quiz is being conducted in a professional manner by
Quiz Master Mr.Gopal Kidao and Mr Diwakar Pingle who are
well known in the quizzing circles in Chennai.
On Children’s day, there will be a variety of special
programs at DakshinaChitra to
ensure that any child walking in enjoys herself or himself
while learning something valuable about our culture and
heritage. Some of the attractions will include bullock cart
rides, magic shows, puppet shows etc.
The quiz will be conducted during the day time in two parts.
Preliminary rounds before lunch,11.00 a.m. onwards and final
rounds, after lunch 1.30 p.m. onwards.
The aim will be to get as many children and their parents
and teachers to come to Dakshina Chitra and enjoy Children’s
Day.
